  I'm getting more contributions to my primary OSS project than I ever used to, and despite a clear no-LLM policy I feel pretty confident some of these contributions are laundered LLM-generated code. And the most distressing thing is the lying. Why do you feel a need to contribute to a project you don't understand? Just stop.

  I get most of my news from an actual daily paper, which is, frankly, often a day late. So the news is usually two days out of date. This has materially improved my quality of life The only exception to this is literally anything about how much AI sucks; Mastodon provides that almost faster than it can be produced I started writing this because I thought it was funny, and then I realized I had to admit that the relentless negativity here is probably materially worsening my quality of life
