  Looks like Hive Systems updated their password cracking table for 2026. The only update is using 16×RTX5090 Nvidia GPUs instead of 12. So the times got *slightly* smaller. Not much.   We've had it with Mattermost. Testing Zulip is a breath of fresh air. It's responsive, doesn't have stupid scrolling bugs, and overall just has a better workflow. Granted, it's got some quirks I'm not immediately a fan of, such as its threads. But those are vastly out-weighed by how responsive snappy the whole experience is. Curious how snappy it'll be after migrating over all the data.

  First 5K since the Ogden Marathon last month. This is meant to serve as a base to build on this year. I've got 6 more 5K races, 2 10Ks, 1 half marathon, and a 50K on the calendar before 2027.   For the second time in as many months, I've had to troubleshoot a filled disk in production because it was formatted with ext4 and ran out of inodes before running out of blocks. If ext5 ever becomes a thing, hopefully inodes are dynamically allocated like #ZFS, XFS, JFS, Btrfs, etc. If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch. #linux
