For the second time in as many months, I've had to troubleshoot a filled disk in production because it was formatted with ext4 and ran out of inodes before running out of blocks. If ext5 ever becomes a thing, hopefully inodes are dynamically allocated like #ZFS, XFS, JFS, Btrfs, etc. If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch. #linux
