It's #backupfriday and I just collected a package with some 10 Gb network gear - it is a bit early as the installers only finished the cable trays in the building this week, and there is still some digging to be done until the building is fiber-connected, and after that my apartment has to be connected as well... I really like using C-x 8 RET in Emacs to write unicode characters that I don't remember a short keystroke for. C-x 8 e i and C-x 8 e l are nice for adding emojis. I have not found an easy way to type a flag, given the country name (code or tld). Is there one? Maybe C-x 8 e f could prompt for a country name/code/tld and insert the appropriate flag emoji? C-x 8 f gree TAB to enter 🇬🇱, for instance.
