I really like using C-x 8 RET in Emacs to write unicode characters that I don't remember a short keystroke for. C-x 8 e i and C-x 8 e l are nice for adding emojis. I have not found an easy way to type a flag, given the country name (code or tld). Is there one? Maybe C-x 8 e f could prompt for a country name/code/tld and insert the appropriate flag emoji? C-x 8 f gree TAB to enter 🇬🇱, for instance.
