  So, I’m watching a show about an artist who said she went to Catholic school as a child. They asked the class what they wanted to be when they grew up. The artist said she wanted to be a Nun. The Nuns at the school said she could never be a Nun because she was left handed! Curiously, is this an actual thing??   @Max_Imum I believe this is the oldest thing I have...they called it a gaming cabinet...but I believe it's for dishes and table settings>> early 1800s. Complete with the original skeleton keys!

  I have been searching for more recipes to make different ice cream flavors and it's been rough!! SO, I thought I'd look in the old cookbook my grandma gave me before she passed away... This thing is LOADED with them!! 4 pages of different flavors of ice cream!! 🤯 This is the, Joy of Cooking (C. 1968) Flavors: -Vanilla, chocolate, and Strawberry (of course), Delmonico/cream glacee, Caramel, Peppermint stick, Pistachio, Coffee, Apricot/peach, Orange, Eggnog, Mocha, Greengage...

  Continuing saga of: making things with milk. In today's episode, I make for the first time ever>>>my absolute FAVORITE dessert. Mousse 2 ways 1) mousse w/rum (pictured) 2) French mousse (looks the same as mousse #1) Both are mousse BUT made different ways I ❣️ MOUSSE!! 😍

  @Max_Imum Yes, I make my own [usually] when I make meat loaf. I slap it on there before it goes in the oven. Keeps it from drying out and creates a pretty fine caramelization!
