I&#39;ve been rooting for this and other #Twitteralternatives since we lost the old #birdsite, and now we have #threads – which I think has a better chance of filling the social broadcasting hole #muskstwitter opened up than any of the &quot;clones&quot; to date. More thoughts here: https://www.netfamilynews.org/threads-the-new-social-media-kid It&#39;ll never be truly decentralized, right? But its promise to be interoperable makes things interesting, don&#39;t you think?

A lot has happened around generative AI safety in the last few weeks. “Safety?” You might ask? Yes. Lately it seems to have been moving almost as fast as the development of #genAI and its large language models (#LLMs).
