  Don't mind me. Just re-tagging the 13000-odd mp3s in my music collection. Mostly so I can import them properly into Music Assistant. Mainly because filesystems have gotten lots better at handling unicode characters in the intervening 20 years 😀 As I'd tagged them all with #MusicBrainzPicard in the first place, updating things is proving pretty painless.   15 years ago today I was at the first Barcamp Liverpool. It was a super important event for me, as it brought together a huge cross-section of the city's (and beyond) geeks to share stories and knowledge and get to know each other. It's also where I first met some of the folk who were co-founders of @DoESLiverpool.   Achievement unlocked: I have gained a line of credit at the local DIY store. They're too small to stock the 3" by 6" joists I wanted, and the only other thing I needed to pick up was a chain for the bathroom sink plug; that's £1, too small for a card payment and I didn't have any change on me. "Drop the cash in next time you're passing" said the bloke behind the counter.
