It’s a testament to how good Trinity College’s tourist marketing is that, without fail, when I tell people I’m studying library science in Dublin they always guess “At Trinity?” Nope, the only MLIS program in Ireland is at University College Dublin. But that campus is honestly a monstrosity of ugly MCM concrete buildings so it makes sense non Irish people don’t know about it. (The newer buildings are a bit better but it’s still not exactly Trinity)

After reading a Murderbot novel, my brain enjoys playing with language the way SecUnit does and I find myself thinking &quot;I could use a comforting hot liquid&quot;. I don&#39;t know why but it always makes me chuckle reading how SecUnit views humans.

My final term of MLIS classwork is done on Friday and I&#39;m working on the last of my take-home assignments. Friends, I&#39;m glad I saved this one for last because it&#39;s *so much fun.* There aren&#39;t many assignments in this program I&#39;d actively call *fun* but boy this is one of them. I want to be moved by the architectural marvels of Isfahan. I want to experience the distinctive flavor of Iranian culture, outside of the Orientalist tropes we&#39;re exposed to in the west. We need to protect Iranians. No war in Iran. *yesterday.*
