I've received sad and enraging news yesterday 🤬. @EC_REA is taking away my MSCA postdoc fellowship. The reason is an eligibility issue regarding mobility: they consider remote work in a 2021 pandemic world as counting towards the country I was residing in (which could have been anywhere in the world, but I happen to have French citizenship and was stuck there). 1/4

Since some AI agents are trying to sign up to ecoevo.social, I think it's time to add the following rule to the server: "AI generated content should be clearly labeled as such. AI agents are not authorized to sign up." Let me know what you think below, and if the wording should be changed. Please Favorite this post if you're ok with it and don't have modifications to add. Edit: Added the rule to the server.

Floating an idea about a science communication event on ecoevo.social. Coming back to an idea I had last month, I have in mind of organizing a kind of "ecoevo.social unconference". I'd like it to be science presentation about ecology and evolution, for the community here but also accessible broadly, with a format slightly shifted from your usual conference. 1/n
