  Does anyone know how to get JAWS to stop reading Remote Content warnings in Thunderbird as you arrow through the message list? I guess I could set it to always allow remote content, but that's obviously not ideal. Thanks.

  I've been in this faze lately of knitpicking nonsensical error messages. The latest one, when Windows 11 blocks a file from running: "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer." Um, so this file was blocked, because it came from another computer? IN that case, shouldn't we just be blocking all the things? I mean, what percentage of files on your computer actually originated on that computer? Sigh ...

  Does anyone have recommendations for a good accessible countertop microwave? Looking for something that is 1.4 cubic feet, and at least 1000 watts. Real buttons would be amazing but I know we don't live in a fantasy world, so I'll take one where I can easily get an overlay. Alexa integration would also be a nice bonus. Thanks.

  So I'm starting to realize that I'm generally disappointed in the new generation of smart speaker voice assistants. Gemini for home is nowhere near as competant as the full Gemini. It often mishears me or even when it does hear me correctly, gives inaccurate information, and don't even get me started on Alexa Plus. oh well, maybe some day.

  I want to have a play with Claude Code, but I understand that there are some a11y issues around accessibility to the terminal in Windows. That said, I know screen reader users are working with this successfully. Has anyone posted a write-up or FAQ? Also, Codex or Claude Code? I'm just starting, so not married to either.   So what's with the message JAWS reads in Chrome when you try to open an inaccessible PDF? "This PDF is inaccessible. Couldn’t download text extraction files. Please try again later." "Please try again later"? What?! So, like, if I wait 10 minutes and try again, this PDF might magically become accessible? Wow! Who knew? #A11Y
