Oh I should probably mention that the ThunderScope windows drivers are now signed by Microsoft, which allows for a dead simple install on Windows systems. To my knowledge we're the first open source hardware project to have a properly signed custom PCIe driver on Windows. It's really important to us to make Windows a first class citizen! If you want to show people that open source equipment is the best option now, you have to meet them where they are at - and in EE that's often Wi...

Has anyone had to consign parts to a Chinese CM? If so how was the import process? I hear it's easy to get stuff out of China but much harder to get stuff in

What's with address length limits on forms? I literally couldn't put the complete address of my Shenzhen based CM on the wire transfer and now can't put the whole thing for shipping parts. Like, it's a neat format and gets really granular but damn is it not what these western places are expecting (which is funny cuz shipping to a CM in east asia is kinda a big use case?)

The ThunderScope design is done. It's out for quotation. The hard part is over. https://github.com/EEVengers/ThunderScope/tree/master/Hardware/KiCad/Thunderscope_Rev5.3/Outputs That one zip file represents the culmination of almost 7 years of work. I need a break... and a stiff drink
