  Still wondering what is going on up the road from my house near Cheniere Lake Area 1. An annoying flag sign has been at the end of my driveway nearly three weeks now. The few times I drive into town, NO activity is happening, no flag people, no workers, just a few mesh orange "cages" on the side of the road, and some flexible yellow tubing with a black stripe on them. Yard guy has to work around that sign. 😡

  Bought taco fixin's at the grocery a couple days ago, including a bag of shredded lettuce. Fixed them today. So far, no issues. But then again, occasional diarrhea has been a side effect of the esophagus surgery in 2018. Not sure I'd notice any difference! 😕

  Been playing with old photos again. This time a June 12, 1972 Polaroid taken at the now defunct "Dogpatch USA" theme park in Arkansas, featuring dad posing with some of the characters. Three versions, one, the original scan, second, enhanced version, third, if the frame appeared in the "Lil Abner" comic strip, which the theme park was based on...

  Trash can wheeled out by the road, load of mostly bath towels in the washer, had updates on computer for Vivaldi and eM Client... those activities will most likely be my "excitement" for the day.

  Made a quick trip into town. Needed to go to the bank and get some cash for the next time the yard guy mows, and a stop at the grocery store to pick up a few items I forgot to get during my first of the month shopping trip. The little bit of time I was actually out from under air conditioning (mainly walking from/to the car at the grocery) caused me to be drenched in sweat. Had to take another shower after returning home. Too damn hot and humid for my liking.

  Random Observation: Seems the #Vivaldi browser got a bit "sluggish" (at least on my desktop) after the latest update. Mostly when it comes to clicking and scrolling. Also, not a fan of the "unified" interface.

  Finally changed my desktop computer background for the first time in a couple desktops. Old one was mom's cat (left) and my cat (right) when I moved mom in with me after she retired. They were both sitting on the kitchen table. Replaced it with a snap son made in early 2018, before he moved to Florida briefly. He took it at sunset at the parish rifle range with the phone he had then. At that time, I was using a flip phone. Won't adopt a new pet for two main reasons, one, I&#3...

  Toilet is still making the loud "whistling" sound after a flush. Now I have to take the lid off the tank and jiggle things around, otherwise it won't stop running. Water in the bowl stays at the same level, just keeps running water though. Don't have the budget for a plumber, but a few years ago, my son replaced the entire toilet in his trailer next door and it still works fine.
