  #Paris #climatechange Found a substack claiming Paris is collapsing and I find it highly believable. Would still like to have some sort of affirmation. Is it that bad already? I bought an AC last year , which felt silly at the time since it only ran for two days in August. This year it's running almost non stop for at least a week now. So.. Paris how are you?   Colossus : the Forbin Project A movie from 1970 shows that it's a bad idea to hand over control of nation defences to an artificial intelligence. Smart people already said smart things about the movie. I only have a simple question. How did Forbin got permission for building a gamma radiation moat as a Colossus defence? Also the draw bridge only had railings on one side. Guess the learning is that computer engineers are not great physical infrastructure engineers.

  #homelab #computers Hello! I have a thing with my homelab zoo which consists of a bunch of raspis, servers and repurposed older notebooks. I regularly forget what runs what on which version and how to access it ( which ssh key or was it a pass? Was it a custom ssh port? Podman or docker? Can I SSH from one to another or can't I and if I can't was there a reason) So I am looking for a thing. Which tells me which firmware and os version runs on what. And do I need to update. Any id...
