Colossus : the Forbin Project A movie from 1970 shows that it's a bad idea to hand over control of nation defences to an artificial intelligence. Smart people already said smart things about the movie. I only have a simple question. How did Forbin got permission for building a gamma radiation moat as a Colossus defence? Also the draw bridge only had railings on one side. Guess the learning is that computer engineers are not great physical infrastructure engineers.
