  Once again I had #outage at Bitwoods #Mastodon server. And the same reason: Samsung EVO Plus 32 GB #SDcard switched to "write protected mode" after 200 days or 500 GB writes. It was the 3rd failing card (I still have 2 spares remaining) and the failing time is now pretty predictable. Maybe switching to bigger card would give longer life-time? Luckily it was easy to recover just by dd'ing the old read-only card into a fresh new one and just reboot. No data loss AFAIK....

  "Electric" by #RichardThompson Great fat sound right from start w/"Stony Ground". Electric indeed. He starts with a killer track sweeping the floor with #Hendrix, #Townshend etc. Superb rocking, and bit folksy with some FC feel. Great stuff. 2nd track is more acoustic based and traditional.   I forgot to buy #stocks last month... But today I bought some #GE #Healthcare. I find stocks no longer exciting and just mildly interesting at best. Just a necessary evil, but I guess it's still a better hobby than just boozing the money. #StockMarket #Investing #Capitalism

  Weekend trip to #Oulu was a great success! Primary reason: Finnish 1:10 2WD #offroad #buggy nationals series (Kaakkuri #RC tracks). I was hesitating to go, but I'm glad I did because I got 3rd in B-main and got my best #RCcar #racing result since 80s. Every start was tough w/another racer tailing me & trying overtake, it was a tough battle but I managed to keep my concentration. Sunday was post-race chill-out and #tourism.   "A Saucerful Of Secrets" by #PinkFloyd Their 2nd album and final one to get authentic mono mix. Like w/Piper, the mono vinyl mix sounds just superb. This is an underdog Floyd album as w/Barrett leaving the band they were searching for new direction, so it's a bit unfocused. No #Waters visions (though there's WW2 refs) or #Gilmour solos unleashed yet, instead obscure space/sci-fi rock and #RickWright lullabies. The sleeve is 1st ever #Hipgnosis album cover....

  "Washing Machine" by #SonicYouth. Possibly the best album I've heard from them. Some kick-ass Horse-Crimso-style guitar jamming and soloing in the first track.   Maybe it's just me but I think #RaspberryPi OS #trixie with #Wayland is great improvement for older models like Pi 3. Using e.g. Mastodon w/Firefox just works. A cool #hack for the official 7" touchscreen: fix xterm font to 12 pt and set Wayland scaling to 0.993. Then entering full screen mode, you get just exactly 80x25 terminal. Also got the 1-button mouse usable with Wayland. Instead of GUI hacks, I just created udev/hwdb rule to emit right clicks with kbd. #Computing #Low...

  "Dry Southern Blues - 1925-1929 Recordings" by #BlindLemonJefferson. I've often ranted that pre-WW2 blues is the best music there is, and compilations like this just prove my point. This one has 50 tracks with just a man and guitar, and 37 of tracks have #blues in the title..
