  My middle daughter made this (stuffed controller and a heart with a star and the text "Daddy, = the best!", just because I had to go to the hospital for a little eye surgery. She must have gotten that from my wife, because she sure as hell didn't get it from me. Makes me feel better already.

  I got operated on my nose and now everytime I get excited or mad, blood comes out of my nose like a fucking anime character... So no playing ( #Retro ) videogames for me today. Too hot for it anyways. Guess I'll be building the #Lego Bumblebee my wife got me.

  Physical media has been dead for years now, hasn't it? You always need to download something after inserting the disc. I've been buying discs until now, but realised years ago, I wouldn't be able to play those games once the servers are offline. Unless I keep every installed game on my harddisk.

  Plastic pins in starter cables can snap and make everything fly all over the engine and hit you almost in the eye. Ask me how I know. So I did some #DIY and fixed the clamps (and trained the grip strength in my hands). Also wanted to bolt down the teeth, but when I drilled one hole it occurred to dumbass me that an exposed bolt isn't really safe, so I just applied some glue instead.

  I'm at a theme park with the family where you can get free fries, snacks, water ice popsicles and lemonade. So we all stuffed ourselves with multiple servings of those after we did all the rides. And back at the tree cabin we had a little bag of (our own) chips each. Tomorrow idem. Kids love it.

  Took me three days to get Matter over Thread working on my #HomeAssistant. Bought a #ZBT-2 but sent it back, because it didn't work and bought a #Sonoff MG24. But it was the fault of the VM where HA was running in on my #TrueNAS server. Virtual NIC's don't play well with ipv6. So decided to move HA from my IOT network to my General network. I also missed the step syncing my credentials (whose idea was it to put that in the "Troubleshoot" menu?? Ok, proba...

  Added metal strip, underside and skirts to my #DIY #Boardgametable. Some bolts are sticking out, because I'm a sloppy worker. And I was 4 screws short, because I'm working with half a plan, that changes every time. But all in all I made some progress.

  Just saw #TheCreator. Awesome looking movie with a great story. Special effects are the best I've seen and shot on location in beautiful places. The kid actor is excellent. Very on topic now that a.i. is turning everything to shit.
