Plastic pins in starter cables can snap and make everything fly all over the engine and hit you almost in the eye. Ask me how I know. So I did some #DIY and fixed the clamps (and trained the grip strength in my hands). Also wanted to bolt down the teeth, but when I drilled one hole it occurred to dumbass me that an exposed bolt isn't really safe, so I just applied some glue instead.
