  It's easy to roll our eyes and say "Of course. Fucking Israelis," but I'd be very surprised if this isn't happening in the US military and other places. Israel's current genocide just makes it particularly visible. The betting marketplaces are what is dystopian.   In absolute agreement with @charliejane on this. Once upon a time, I would have been very excited about an animated version of #Firefly but we're past that time. There were a lot of issues with Firefly at the time, and not just connected to Adam "Mr. Gamergate" Baldwin. Doing a new series just makes it more urgent that they confront them, and it doesn't sound like they will. Give us some new, smart SF, not a buffed up version of the past. https://buttondo...

  My Caretaker burnout is cranked up to fucking 11. Woke up this morning and had to replace my partner's colostomy bag first thing, before coffee. Shit all over the place, had to wipe her down and help her to the shower. And THEN she fell and struck her head while getting dressed. No harm, but still another layer of stress. Now, to work.

  Well, it seems that @protonprivacy is just as likely to screw over American activists as the other corps. They passed info to the FBI (via the Swiss govt) that allowed them to finger a #StopCopCity activist. They claim that it was a legally binding order from the Swiss govt. Regardless, remember that we're not as safe with Proton as we would like.
