  The last few years, recently, IRL and online: Me: “Hey everyone, I found when using roads, look out for bumps in the roads! Bad things have happened to me/others due to bumps in roads!” Coworkers/Online Folks/Perfect Strangers: “Why do you hate roads!?!? Why are you so negative towards roads!? Millions of people have had no problems with roads, maybe it’s just you, don’t force your negativity on me/us! All you do is complain! Let’s schedule a talk with HR! 1/2

  An online acquaintance posted a beautiful extended essay on another social platform about grief & loss & coping with that. Meanwhile, NHK network was showing a documentary on wind phones, how they’ve proliferated after a Japanese man set up the first one b/c of his own loss. The wind phone nearest me on a local trail was not featured (just as well). Then they aired a biopic about a Japanese barista who died young, tragically, & his parents opened a café in his honor.   Hey @Forbes@newsie.social when reading a linked article, it would make completing it a lot easier if I didn’t have to do a “human test” slider capcha every time I “throw” the article upward to read it at speed (it’s 50% ads anyway!) Some of us _actual_humans_ have been reading since the age of 3 & have a huge capacity for text absorption. No, I do not want to buy a subscription. Kthnxbye. #Forbes

  “Helpful” gadgets or informational signs tend to drive me nuts. The visual clutter of a “Dirty/Clean” stick-on sign for your dishwasher I find nigh unbearable on both a visual (it ruins the smooth polished surface of the appliance) & intellectual (if in doubt, open the door and Look!) basis. #sensoryoverload #rant
