@MattHodges people that actively follow my local newspaper on Facebook will, without fail, complain about their paywall. A common comment is “why bother sharing the article if you require a subscription”. They aren’t the only game in town. There are multiple other local and regional news orgs… but their coverage is less local or lower quality. If you suggest a subbing, half say the reporting is low quality, and yet here they are again, demanding to see the reporting for free.

Does anyone else (probably only right handed folks) find themselves hitting the numpad enter key with the thumb while holding the mouse? I don't know when I started doing it, but I realized today I do it constantly.

The Mayor of Miami Florida (Francis Suarez) is announcing a presidential run. https://www.politico.com/news/2023/06/14/francis-suarez-president-mayor-miami-00102030 So far, not a single article I've found mentions the fate of miami coin, not even one from a crypto focused site calling him the "bit coin mayor".

So apparently I made a GCODE file that kills my Ender3 and I have to unplug it for a little while to get it to talk to my Raspberry Pi again. That's what I get for trying to print a desiccant jar. #3dprinting

A fun failure mode of the Hatch Rest+ Gen 2 is that it will stop playing white noise and instead start producing a high pitched buzzing noise that will eventually fade to a demonic roar before eventually producing sporadic static. Eventually, the battery dies and you can reset it. It's happened twice now while my child was sleeping and I'm not particularly happy about it. #parenting
