If your church is telling you to vote for a political party that protects pedophiles and serial rapists, find a new church.

Just a casual reminder that Germans who “didn’t bother to vote” in 1932 didn’t get a chance again until 1946, after Hitler’s death. — There’s a lesson there.

I’ve said it before, and I’m sure I’ll say it a thousand times more: If you believe you love freedom but don’t care if it applies to everyone, what you actually love is privilege.

At some point we have to talk about how Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were executed for far less than what Donald Trump did and is still actively doing.

President Zelenskyy has become one of the world’s greatest heroes. That’s eating Putin and Trump alive.

Ilhan Omar spent four years in a refugee camp and ended up becoming a Congresswoman. She represents the best of America, while Donald Trump represents the worst.

People often fake being nice, but most people don’t fake being mean. So if they are mean, believe them.

The fact that the President of the United States suggests Iran should nuke Los Angeles and San Diego and we’re supposed to pretend it’s perfectly normal, everyday stuff shows exactly what is terribly wrong with today’s political mainstream media.

Imagine needing validation so badly that you threaten to tear down another President’s memorial unless they put your name on it. The level of fragile ego it takes to pull a stunt like this is genuinely unhinged.

I find it absurd that the em dash is now widely perceived as an indicator of AI use. I have used it since childhood; it is part of my writing style. Sometimes inserting a brief aside within a sentence, at other times emphasizing the conclusion of a thought. In any case, I use em dashs deliberately, and I am absolutely certain that many other writers do the same.

President Obama killed al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. Donald Trump invited the Taliban to hang out at Camp David on 9/11, freed 5,000 of their elite fighters from prison, and tried to kill Mike Pence. We should never forget that.

On the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the greatest threat to the safety and security of Americans is the President of the United States, together with his entire cabinet.

Job applicants are using AI to write resumes and prep interview answers. Companies are using AI to screen those applications and conduct initial interviews. We’ve officially automated both sides of a process meant to measure human connection. The irony is genuinely unreal.

On this Labor Day, let us remember that it wasn’t the CEOs and billionaires who saved us during COVID-19. It was the janitors, nurses, cleaning crews, grocery and food workers with their hard, often invisible labor.

“An army of gray-haired women may quietly take over the Earth.” Gloria Steinem spent nearly a century teaching us how to be our truest, fiercest selves. Thank you for leading the way, for listening, and for never backing down. Rest easy, Gloria. We’ve got it from here.

The cockroach, out of hatred for the ant, voted for the insecticide. They all died. Including the cricket, who cast an invalid vote, and the fly, who did not go to the polls at all. America’s political landscape in a nutshell.

Men often believe that a woman’s greatest fear is loneliness. They are completely wrong. The greatest fear is getting married, having children, becoming a maid, and being trapped in a miserable life with a loser by her side.

Dr. Abdul El-Sayed was practically engineered to break MAGA brains. American-born (sorry, no “go back” card), ridiculously credentialed (MD + Oxford PhD), explains policy like a normal human, and takes zero crap. Good luck finding a script for that.

Expecting Trump’s personal lawyer, Todd Blanche, to act in the best interest of the U.S. as AG isn’t optimism — it’s weaponized self-delusion.

Why is the burden of “not letting the team down” always placed on overworked employees, instead of on management to hire enough people?

Generation X (1965–1980): • Ages 46 to 61 • Looking somewhere between 29 and “none of your business” • Didn’t grow up sheltered — we were basically turned loose outdoors • Independent at 10; still refusing to act like adults at 50 • Our childhood would make a modern parent group chat implode Which is why our internal mantra remains: “It’ll work out. I’ve got this.”

Two more American lives thrown away. All to open a strait that wasn’t even closed until Trump attacked Iran. There is no strategy. Just body bags for a manufactured crisis.

Well, it’s neither the one we expected nor the one we hoped for — but you take your wins where you can get ’em.

No snark, I genuinely don’t get it. Trump is one of the least masculine, most juvenile public figures out there. He’s needy, whiny, defensive, terrified of strong women, and visibly intimidated by powerful men. How does his base spin this into the ultimate “strongman” image?

If, at the end of this dark era, we actually have a Democratic president again, there is one thing they absolutely must take to heart: F*ck forgiveness. Our country will only unite behind criminal prosecution and prison sentences, before eventually, slowly, beginning to heal.
