I like playing that cracker barrel golf tee jump game with candies instead, because when you jump one, you get to eat it. And if one is in the wrong place, you get to eat it. And if one is preventing you from winning, you get to eat it. And oh hey look! I won again!

Today is primary election day in the state of Indiana. I have already voted and bought a dozen donuts (as one does when up at 5AM to vote before dawn) And it is just so nice of my neighbors to tell me that I cannot trust them! Those signs for Republican candidates outside their homes that say "this person thinks you should not have rights unless you are straight, white, cis, and male"

I, for one, miss Waffle House I mean, it is not like I could not go to a waffle house anytime I wanted; there are two within 5 miles of my home My partner does not care for waffle house. And when I am getting food on my own, I never think of it ๐ Now if I could get high and teleport there, I would eat waffle house all the time!

A work question: how do y'all deal with a job that fails in a way that it registers as a success? I have some number of powershell jobs that fail some percentage of the time, but very few actually log that failure. I typically have a second job that will email me if the first job has not completed in some timeframe. But this "trust but verify" method has its own flaw that the verify job could also fail silently

Whelps! I got asked to use AI in a project at work, as an "offer I could not refuse" So I took an older codebase and told it to delete all the unused code. I know that probably half of the codebase is dead code, so I suspected to be reviewing the changes for a week 2 files. It deleted 2 files. And then removed those two files from the config I am unimpressed
