  Having an incredibly rare Day To Myself. Landed in Galway city 2 hours ago, pucked up some things to help run D&D for kids in my local library this weekend, got some coffee in that small Italian place I love, and just polished off a gigantic burrito with slow cooked beef and damn near everything on top.   What a lovely day. I got last minute supplies for my "d&d for kids" project, had some great food, a shnakey pint, met some good friends AND their little dog too, and had more great food.

  Statting up an Exalted character for the first time in years tonight. Using the Essence rules might make this a little easier. All the same, I missed it; There's a flavour to Exalted that no other ttrpg quite matches.   Not a fan of my last day before leaving consisting of getting out of bed extra early and leaving the house with a pram so I can sit in a cafe waiting while the house is cleaned, prospective buyers come to look at it, while my hosts go looking at houses in turn, and *eventually* meet me later after they pick up their kid from daycare, and then *maybe* around 3pm I can actually go back and have a fucking shower. Just in time for them to host a party for half a dozen toddlers and their parents....
