Not a fan of my last day before leaving consisting of getting out of bed extra early and leaving the house with a pram so I can sit in a cafe waiting while the house is cleaned, prospective buyers come to look at it, while my hosts go looking at houses in turn, and *eventually* meet me later after they pick up their kid from daycare, and then *maybe* around 3pm I can actually go back and have a fucking shower. Just in time for them to host a party for half a dozen toddlers and their parents. Kinda undoing all the relatively pleasant silence and solitude I had been enjoying the previous week 🫠
