Loads of other aspects covered: removal of benches because of homeless people, NYC new roll-out. Really amplifies that a simple thing like mapping a bench can be useful in a multitude of ways. @Edent @watmildon

  @ultrazool Might be no consolation, but I don't think you should frame this as being on "the wrong path". The grant award process heavily favours incumbents, even when the awarding body is actively trying to avoid doing so.

I still think that there's scope for completely different ways to innovation funding. ARIA have a saner process than many, but I always liked the late Donald Braben's approach:l.
