For #bench and #openStreetMap enthusiasts a fascinating in depth look at benches in US🇺🇸 cities: https://placesjournal.org/article/the-disappearance-of-the-public-bench/ Most intriguing for me was learning about riots when Central Park NYC introduced private chair rental. Loads of other aspects covered: removal of benches because of homeless people, NYC new roll-out. Really amplifies that a simple thing like mapping a bench can be useful in a multitude of ways. @Edent @watmildon
