The niche hobbies I seem to get from being #actuallyautistic are something of a curse but nonetheless interesting. Currently researching about the lost land known as Doggerland that once connected Great Britain to the continent. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doggerland?wprov=sfla1 Just endlessly fascinating to read about what it was and thinking about the consequences for human history had it somehow not been lost and whether given enough time it could ever reappear from beneath the North Sea.

Tech industry telling the world to get used to high prices this week just shows how distorting this AI bubble has become. The main reason seems to be "AI AI AI" even though the markets have literally slid this week because of exposure to a potential pop and that its somehow going to last five years even though OpenAI lost $38.5 billion last year and delayed the IPO the week after it was revealed. Tell me again after the burst and tulip mania 2.0 around GPUs and RAM chips comes...

My thoughts this week go to all those laid off at Id Software. I hope you find your feet and I hope we watch in the near future as Microslop loses most of its share price and Nadella deemed the worst CEO in corporate history. I think many of you will have the last laugh here #videogames #fps #games #idsoftware

Decided to go back to the single panel instead of the advanced panel the #Mastodon web client provides. Its good for sure but affecting my focus a bit too much. Time to just quieten down things a notch.

Finding these Spring into summer days is perfect for film viewing interestingly enough. Just wind down with the sun still shining and watch whatever you've got on hand. Yup, going through my newly bought #vhs tapes, putting them on and seeing what sticks. #movies #film

Evening thought that I should learn the skills able to make music. If only to just feed the neurodiverse #actuallyautistic brain I have. Which sorta makes me think I shouldn't. Do I really want to create specifically tailored bits of weird electro music and go into an even deeper rabbit hole?

Wondering, going to Amsterdam in a few weeks. My intention is much like London, to 100% (Or close to) the Subway. Question is, I'm not particularly trying to speedrun it. Is there anywhere good to get off and have a look around while I'm at it? #trains

Seem to be gaining the curse of the trailer before the film being potentially more interesting (Or distracting) than the actual feature I was intending to watch. First in the cinema in April just before The Drama (The Invite) and now for a second time with a #vhs viewing of The Sixth Sense (The Talented Mr. Ripley). I can see why these used to be put at the end of the film. #films #movies

BlueSky seems to be morphing into the same terminally online platform that Twitter was from what I've seen. It seems horrendously toxic and every time I see stuff from it it makes me more determined to stay away from it. Mastodon shows me what I want and nothing more by comparison and leaves me with motivation to actually change things. #socialmedia #technology #mastodon

My weird creative thought of the day would be to wonder how different some actual underground Tube Stations would look if many of the lights were broken and were completely deserted. I think it would be a great little mystery suspense piece as they figure out where to go and what actually happened. #trains #london

Probably not the most acute #actuallyautistic observation ever but I find being autistic isn't the problem. Its the world giving me potential mental health challenges as a result. Steadying the ship is seemingly my lifelong need at this point. (Note, I'm fine, this is purely my observation)
