  This is *NOT* the way to strap these. Instead, solder one side to the pcb, and solder the other side while pulling on it with needlenose pliers. Then it will come out properly tight.

  One of the things I have learned is to not just use water based glue on paper based decals, it causes them to wrinkle, and they dont unwrinkle. I have some strange "white glue" from the dollar store that does not seem to be water based, and isn't white, its clear...

  And here is a good reason to not use corrugated cardboard for this, challenges with fine details. This doesn't really matter, this cardboard is just support for the paper that has the printed pattern.

  ok, so I ended up with this on my first journey, its not awesome but curious as it uses an SCR relaxation oscillator. I thought it would take a wide voltage range but its really narrow.

  hmm, ok these MAY look like regular 7 segment displays, but their not, each segment has green and red leds, so its sort of a tricolour thing. I will need to set one up to show ya properly...

  TINY 7 segment displays an some led blocks. SOIC16 for scale, these 2 digit 7 segment displays are really little! they are 5 pin, charlieplexed! first charlieplexed product I have ever bought. so, sadly I cant hard-wire it to say anyting. The blocks are for putting masks on for things like "12V"

  OOoo more block LEDs! I put those origional ones on the left so you can compare size, The idea is I laser print onto transparencies for the thing I want to indicate, with a bit of a tinted window this works great.

  52 robots in 52 weeks, This weeks goal is to get a motor attached to the gripper. The gripper is cable driven for weight balance.

  :S well THATS not right.... And yes, the capacitor tester confirmed there is only a few coincidental pf between the leads.... ok, so I'm not sure I have a non-polar cap for this. I need to keep myself from building a custom little VFD for this... cause it would be easy... Just a microcontroller generating two sine wave via pwm and a class D amplifier with an output filter.... ch32V003...

  OMG my estimate of this being a 1990's camera just got blown back to 1965. I have not seen anything built like this in ages. oh no, the motors are 3 wire, I hope their not 3 phase servos!
