@christopher you are a bit naïf, Israel is on an ethnic cleansing campaign, they will annex Gaza and kick the Palestinians out.

@ematts@mastodon.online @christopher but we are getting a western supported genocide instead, ethnic cleansing in Gaza, apartheid and continued pressure by settlers on the West Bank. There is no justice in this world. And everything is being streamed on real time, so we will not be able to say that we didn’t know. Personally I am getting ashamed of being in the EU, Von der Layen has done a lot of damage. Double standards and moral cowardice.

@christopher it’s ideology, racist apartheid ideology of people who thinks are superior and who want to fulfil a program, like Nazi Germany they want their Grosser Israel and economics or rationality are not in. I hope rational and empathetic Jews around the world start mobilising against this crazed rampage.

@christopher this is Zionism, and there are more Christian Zionists than Jewish ones. Guess you live in the UK so you should know about its origins in England, XVII century. Did you know Oliver Cromwell was one of the pioneers? Then obviously the expulsion of Puritans brought this ideology to the US. Main followers today are Evangelicals, also great Trump supporters.

@ematts@mastodon.online @christopher an atrocity, shameful and unforgivable. The world is going astray. Far right, mythical thinking and techno feudalism are taking over. Very scary for our children, and they will also have to deal with climate change. Same trends everywhere.

@duckwhistle @christopher I think you are a bit optimistic. Do you think western public opinion and governments are changing their attitude towards Israel? I think people like us are just a minority. Israel will get Gaza and no punishment for its war crimes and against humanity crimes. Have you seen on the media bombed children, journalists, hospitals, mosques and churches and settler abuse on the West Bank including beheaded donkeys? Sincerely hope to be wrong.
