If the universe is a simulation, that begs the next question: a simulation of what? Or not a simulation so much as a meta reality version of Conway&#39;s Game of Life, with a simple set of rules and a starting condition. Press start and let it run. Everything from gravity to human consciousness is just an emergent property of cellular automata. We are all just the equivalent of &quot;gliders&quot;. If so, wheee!
