RE: https://wandering.shop/@NicoleJLeBoeuf/117010453512773774 Update on the infuriating situation: The domain host for ScienceFictionWeekly.com is Cloudflare (according to a search at https://acidtool.com/) It is trivially easy to submit a DMCA abuse notice to the domain host via the form you will find here: https://www.cloudflare.com/trust-hub/reporting-abuse/ Useful if you, too, are an author who has found your stolen work, once published by Daily Science Fiction, hosted without your cons...

Signal boost for an infuriating situation: There is a new flash fiction publisher, "Science Fiction Weekly," which purports to host late lamented Daily Science Fiction's archive of stories "with author consent"... ...I only just heard about them today. They have republished my story, "The Rarest of Prey," without contacting me, asking my permission, let alone paying me a token reprint fee. (cont'd)

Managed to kick myself in the shin during open skate, trying out my wheels on the floor. That's right. My first bruise of the tournament was self-inflicted. #rollerDerby #CascadianClash

Day one of the two-day drive home is done. Am turning in for the night in a Sleep Inn by Choice Hotels (Jerome, ID). (And that I already travel with a steno pad and light-...
