@sister_ratched I remember that one well! I was in Year 9 and we got given half the day off. I went to my friend&#39;s place - we had it on her tiny portable b/w TV and we peeked out the window as it got darker and darker and the birds all went quiet. In the middle of the day. It was a surreal experience for sure!

@purserj @3wombats I guess the only surprise is how quickly it happened and good on the photographer for owning up to it immediately. I suspect there are many who would not have.

I had to make a dentist appointment today and the receptionist offered me 2.30 on Monday. I laughed (that old chestnut!). She stared at me. I said &quot;2.30? Get it? Tooth hurty?&quot;. She just raised her eyebrows at me. I mean, it&#39;s got to be one of the oldest jokes around but she just gave me a pained kind of &quot;let&#39;s just be nice to the mad lady&quot; forced smile. @olivewhippet Elmo has rate limited unverified people to reading 600 tweets a day, verified get to read 6000. Right now I can see tweets and RT but I can’t actually tweet. I went back as I missed so many people (13 years tends to build rapport!) and it’s gotten worse and worse and worse. The last 24 hours are possibly its dying gasp.
