@Remittancegirl Ummm... I haven&#39;t been following this but I thought it wasn&#39;t just a drink here and there. Weren&#39;t there trailers of him getting absolutely plastered, being drunk at work, and unexplained absences? There&#39;s a line where harmless use of alcohol crosses over to a drinking problem, where it is likely to affect your ability to do your job. Afaik, that&#39;s what&#39;s going on: He has a problem.

@Remittancegirl Okay, I get it. Yes, he&#39;s a sycophantic whack job, who only does what&#39;s in his own interest, and that of his boss, but that&#39;s only an argument for one half of the legislators. If you manage to convince at least some of the other party that he&#39;s crap, you might get someone else, who might be better. Or worse. Nobody knows.
