  Willow Flycatcher feeding Her Young A fellow bird enthusiast who was passing me on the trail commented that while it was lovely to hear the babes calling out in the trees, it would be awesome if one became visible, just for a moment. As if answering his call, out swooped the parent from one direction and the little guy from another, to feed on the bare branch in front of us for a mere moment before taking off again.
