  #vaugeposting People saying that King Manifco (Disney’s Wish) isn’t evil enough completely are misreading him. He is a narcissist control freak with the power to remove people’s ambitions from them and hide it away forever, on a national scale. Just like in the movie, people look at his charismatic self and go “How is this person evil?”, and they just completely miss it. They feel like he can be redeemed, and the movie at the end goes out of its way to say “No”. Wish deserves more respect.

  Speaking of Misunderstood films, Rays and the Last Dragon is misunderstood. There is no evil villain. This isn’t a story about evil. This is not a grey morality tale. Shush makes it very clear what the film is about, and that is forgiveness and coming together. Jealousy and greed is what break the world, and the two girls become enemies not because they hate each other, but one parent covets the possession of the other. There is a bunch of bull in the way, but it’s about unity.

  I was transcribing my book out of the composition book yesterday, and I forgot to put it back in my bag. I’m not sure how I’m really going to be writing today. Yellow pad with papers out of order might be the way.

  So, here is the pickle. Stitcher wants to live. He believes that there has to be a way out, and if Ears saved Abigal, then he figures she could rescue him as well, for giving up who gave the order. Ears is okay with that, but Venturine is not. The Hunt has to kill the person who killed a fey, and he is the criminal who arranged it. Even if Ears talks Rini into letting him go, Pinion would not. Part of me kinda wanna turn him into a weasel. Not like an exotic, just a weasel.

  We find ourselves in a weird position. Technically, the US and Iran don’t want to open the strait. The US is flexing a muscle and trying to capitalize on its own oil reserve, and plans on opening the Strait only if they can look like a hero. The Iranians don’t want to open it up unless they can slurp up Saudi Profits in the form of tariffs, paid through companies that the Saudi’s owe no loyalty to.

  I went to a writing jam! They gave us a writing style! I wrote two little stories. I am hoping that they are in the Gonzo Journalist style they wanted. It was fun! I hope to visit the group again.
