@Sofie@subversive.zone As I said before, I sympathise with much of your view, &amp; do not dispute your facts. Yes, the issue of representation of the people of #Palestine needs addressing. In 2017 #Hamas &amp; #Fatah agreed to form a unity Govt in order to hold elections in the #WestBank &amp; #Gaza. #Israel refused to allow such elections. Until the people of #Gaza (&amp; the #WestBank) are allowed to hold free elections we will not know who #Palestinians currently want to represent them. #Israel has refused to allow elections since 2006 &amp; #Fatah also helped by cancelling the proposed 2021 elections. @Sofie@subversive.zone For me, anarchism - or at least socialism -is the ideal way to organise a society. But I also believe human nature ensurers these ideals will never be achievable, so the best we can do is to try to incorporate the key principles from these political philosophies as far as possible .

@jopy@universeodon.com @DrALJONES @palestine @israel@a.gup.pe May I point out that the Oslo Accords were intended to establish self-Govt &amp; lead to the creation of a Palestinian State. But NO self-Govt has ever been established, other perhaps than in #Gaza with #Hamas. In the #WestBank, #Fatah acts as an Israeli auxilliary, a kapo, policing the Palestinians on behalf of Israel.
