I'll tell you: it means I try to be a better person, and I try not to take anything not freely given to me.</p><p>It doesn't mean I don't drink, smoke, cuss, be overtaken by impulse, or shoot. It doesn't mean I wont fight, either for someone who is beat down, or for my damn self.</p><p>I'm all of these things:</p><p>A sailor<br />A maker<br />A brewer<br />A cook<br />A fighter<br />A lover<br />A man of the classical sort. Does that make me toxic?</p>

Dunno if I mentioned it already, but spending a year on rewiring ones house isnt a good way to spend a year. The work only took about six weeks (which was four weeks longer than bid), but getting the house put back together took forever. The good news is, my electric service is now right and tight and up to code, and no longer fries my electronics. More good news is that I’ve also invested in portable, redundant and self contained power infrastructure. Work has been very productive, too.

so good to see this feed load, I’ve been monitoring it off and on for a few months. I all but gave it up for dead. I just want to say I am glad to see and hear from all of you. Will further update my status soon.

I bought a 19’ O’Day Mariner 2+2 sailboat and I am getting back on the water. I have also taken to carrying a hand axe as part of my EDC. AMA!

wow mastodon.hams.social is back! tbf I’d been having much trouble with it loading unusably slow for some time already, and had moved my posting activity to defcon.social. It’s good to see this instance back up and running, and in proper form too 🦣
