Dunno if I mentioned it already, but spending a year on rewiring ones house isnt a good way to spend a year. The work only took about six weeks (which was four weeks longer than bid), but getting the house put back together took forever. The good news is, my electric service is now right and tight and up to code, and no longer fries my electronics. More good news is that I’ve also invested in portable, redundant and self contained power infrastructure. Work has been very productive, too.
