ordered another full spectrum light to make another couple of shelves available for plants. I think I'm aiming for having different stages on different levels and with some being slow growing it'd be nice to have them a bit "out of the way". It's silly just how enjoyable it is watching them do nothing ๐คทโโ๏ธ

Went to the shop this morning for a topup elderly feller already queuing looking around for a staff member. I saw one packing shelves maybe about 6m away or so. (she completely ignored me before when I was using the self service to get milk and it kept blaring out to get a staff member, she looked and carried on what she was doing) I called out "can we get some service here please" guy nodded as a thank you, staff member just kept on doing what she was doing, I called out again...

Went and got my eyes tested this morning, spent a lot more on new varyfocals, I've had the same glasses for about 13 years but rarely wore them in that time... I better wear these ones.

I got a few more bits for the indoor garden(?) yesterday and have now that all organised for now. I don't want to use up all the space as hopefully in a few weeks things will need to be moved to larger pots before moving outside and then I could start the full cycle.

Not sure whether to have a nice relaxing day in the house today or go on an adventure, I could do with both.

I tried the "tap on the shell of a snail so it hides and you gan pick it up without hurting it", it didn't work, it went in but was still holding on peaking out. And the second I stopped it went full speed and jumped off the ledge at which point it did go into the shell and I moved it.

Watching season 2 of 24, the president called off an attack on the middle East and the vice president invoked the 25th Ammendment. It looks like the oil companies are trying to start the war to increase their profits.

I've been doing a small business a favour by doing their newsletters for the last couple of years, the service they set up and we're using has changed their reach limit and they're now over and need to move. They seem to be expecting me to find one and set it up for them. I know nothing about the different sites that do this nor do I want to spend x amount of hours finding which best suits and setting it all up and then every so often have to spend a couple of hours sendi...

Themuns next door peeked through their blinds that look at my door and they angled their blind to look at what I was doing so while he was doing that I waved at him and smiled. Was speaking with other neighbour and they peaked through the side one to look at us. I told the good neighbour about them angling their blinds so they could look out and see who her visited was a few days before. They are insufferable.

I got the small extension shelves the other day and today got the corner shelves so it utilises a bit of dead space and has over doubled the storage ๐

Just made a call to a gov department which was technically the wrong number but they give advice after they gave me the right number I said "thank you very much" and then together we said "have a nice day" and both hanging up but as I was doing so I heard an "aww" as in the aww someone makes when a cat does something cute ๐ I hope that brightened up her morning.

I've had a really nice weekend. Friday I made plans, Saturday evening I felt up for doing something with friends and did, Sunday lie in since I wasn't home till 4 and managed to do dailies pretty much by normal time before heading out to meet family and spent the day with them. Now home, fire lit watching Andor.

Today has just turned into one of those days. It had the potential to be a really good day but just fell flat at every step. Like even the automatic door stopped opening on me and I banged my shoulder on it ๐

Had initially planned to have a quiet day today but the weather was better than forecast and the following days are much worse, or at least supposed to be. So I got my dailies done early (increased rowing resistance now at 13 of 16) and went out for a walk. It was coincidentally called "long walk" and then off to a nursery to get some plants and pots that I had scoped out. Home and plants sorted and now relaxing with the football on thinking of what to have for dinner.
