@spytfyre In lieu of meaningful commitment to net zero, that&#39;s a good plan! I may be forced to try it. Tho wait long enough and the disruption to the amoc / gulf stream reversal might sort us out. More immediately, well played Argentina 😊

#FootpathFriday #StreetArt I like that it&#39;s an urban footpath following the course of an old canal bed. I like the juxtaposition of typically rural and urban hashtags. Although the picture focuses on the built environment with modern embellishments, the path is heavily wooded with a rich understory, full of wildlife. Running through the middle of a very built up area, it&#39;s a green leafy place to recharge the soul. #Paisley #Scotland

Masto-Mappers! Are there any Avenza type #FOSS #Map #Maps App options available? Blue Marble Geographic&#39;s takeover means user-created maps can only be used on paid plans now. (I think I&#39;ll pivot to ESRI Field Maps if subscription is the only way. Opinions sought. Boosts to increase the hive mind appreciated 🙂

A good read highlighting issues around large-scale commercial #Forestry. Hyperbolic language is unhelpful though. Describing preparating land for #Tree planting as &#39;...stripping...&#39; is patently nonsense ..this kind of devastation doesn&#39;t happen until #Clearfell (&amp; TBF, not always) The &#39;...natural grassland...&#39; is mostly deforested, degraded landscape.
