• Screen shot : Rebel Galaxy

  Not really one for space sims. I feel like a lot of them are more complicated than they should be. But I’m really liking Rebel Galaxy! I only have to worry about an XY axis and it’s a lot like a naval sim. so it plays a lot like Assassins Creed Black Flag.

• Is there a way to embed a gif into a comment on Lemmy?

  I know how to add a picture but I was hoping there was a way to add a gif.

• KDE Plasma Mobile on Surface Pro 4

  After a recommendation from Lemmy, I downloaded KDE mobile alongside plasma desktop to see if my touchscreen would work better. This took a little tinkering and figuring out but I really enjoy this interface. ^borrowed and reconfigured fastfetch theme from a Lemmy user (lost access to old account so I can’t tag them, sorry ) ^ the slide-up app drawer for KDE Mobile. ^interatellar, gui client for Lemmy. ^Tuba, gui client for Mastodon.

  All of these screenshots are taken using touchscreen mode only. I also have plasma mobile running on it. I’ll post pictures of that soon. Librewolf browser with Bonjourr.fr home page. (Used CSS to customize layout for mobile. ) Stock Spotify for Linux. Newsflash rss reader. All in all it wasn’t a terrible experience getting it all set up. Def worth the time.

• set pin for KDE plasma mobile?

  using plasma mobile on a surface pro 4. on login it asks for a pin? i Can login with my password but a pin seems easier and more in touch with a mobile system. can i make that happen? (screenshot is just my desktop)

• better KDE touchscreen usability?

  I got fedora KDE with surface-kernel working but the touchscreen usability is LACKING. is there a way to improve the touch interface?

• Anyone using a surface pro with Linux?

  I’m looking into a new tablet and it seems like grabbing a surface is a more affordable option to an iPad or other high end tablet. I can grab a decent one on marketplace for under $200 us. Is it worth it?
