  I concede that there are some problematic takes in that thread, but they also don’t seem to me like actionable threats or anything that could conceivably incite real world acts. I just see people who are angry at the current events venting their anger with little prior thinking through of the full implications.   I personally never really considered “Chinese knockoff” a negative term because those products still fill a niche that is beneficial to the consumer, usually very low cost entry level offerings the “brand name” companies don’t bother making.   I am once again dumping my raw thoughts on the Lemmy and asking your opinion on them. My first dog (and pet in general) is nowhere near the age of me needing to think about putting her down, but having a dog has introduced me to the world of opinions on whether they should be put down when they get too old.
