  I suspect that the rise in interest regarding cyberdecks is spurred a lot by the imminent lockdown of Android...and wanting a portable communication tool not owned by government/big business. I know I am figuring what to do (I am rather aggravated by how many defunct phones are not really unlockable/re-usable in ways not linked to Android.

  weird little urge I have had for over a year or so has been to get some SBCs and have them....around. (I am playing with the rasp4b)... low power, very portable communication devices as phones get more and more locked down.....(sigh)
