I suspect that the rise in interest regarding cyberdecks is spurred a lot by the imminent lockdown of Android...and wanting a portable communication tool not owned by government/big business. I know I am figuring what to do (I am rather aggravated by how many defunct phones are not really unlockable/re-usable in ways not linked to Android.
