  Cows naturally tend to face magnetic north. In a cowgapped system, you can achieve data exfiltration by placing large, powerful electromagnets outside of the pastures and turning it on and waiting for the cows to face the magnet for 1 and turning it off and waiting for the cows to face north for 0, with of course a second electromagnet in a different direction as a delimiter. With this method, one could steal proprietary cow info at a rate of 1 bit every 5 minutes.

  I have now beaten the main story in No Man's Sky. I am EXTREMELY bad at beating games all the way, but wanted to see if the main story unlocked anything for me. It did! And I actually really enjoyed the story! 10/10 I only had to force quit the game once, only game in recent memory where I beat the main story and then wanted to keep playing

  Harvested the potatoes today, as the plants had fully died back. Normally, the plants dying back is a sign that it has dedicated all its nutrients into tuber production. In this case, I think it was just due to the recent heat waves and not getting enough water 🥲 I got six potatoes, but one was damaged by the shovel. I now have five potatoes and the damaged one left in the dirt to see if it sprouts. An absolutely dismal harvest yield, but you live and learn.

  I bought a 1987 north korean 1 won coin last month to add to my small collection of conversation pieces. I received the coin last month shortly after purchase. Today paypal has reversed the charge, given my account a warning and support is unable to tell me why other than vague "compliance issues." So now I am trying to get details as to what rule was broken and why, but they will not budge aside from telling me vague compliance language and "internal investigation." So.....
