  So after what feels like two decades (though it's probably closer to one) I finally finshed reading a whole novel again. Apparently it is all the fuss currently everywhere, but if you like RPGs, give "Dungeon Crawler Carl" a try. I can absolutely recommend it!

  There are some nice FOSS Shooters out there, but the issue is that there are so few people playing that those who are are essentially OP AF. Just joined an Unvanquished Game after around a year and immediately lost interest again after being completely fucked by a single guy dismantling our entire base basically on his own. 🤷

  The longer I am in the #3dprinting hobby, I notice more and more that it is less about the actual printing and more about the empowerment of freedom. My printer is MINE. I own my mistakes and improve and change it as I see fit, not some marketer of a huge corporation.   Handling OBS WebSocket Authentication is wild on ESP32, due to no standardized way of handling strings (String vs. char[] vs. char* vs. const char* vs. unsigned char...). Every library wants something else, some also throw byte[] in the mix 🤮

  A little delayed gratification for LAST week's #FreeCADFriday: My rotating Labubu Holder for up to 8 Labubus (or other things you can hang). Took a while to manufacture because my printer decided to fuck off in that general direction --> with its hotend (the hotend lost screws and essentially bent) so I had to wait for replacement, but now the screw tolerances are flawless. 100.0% 3D printed! Back when Ukraine started hitting russian ammo dumps, I remember a video of a local governor or mayor or whatnot standing on a field in front of press, declaring that the attack was successfully averted and nothing big was hit - while in the background you could hear constant secondary explosions of the entire site cooking off.   #AI #Enshittification everywhere. Our product uses DeepL via API and recently the results we get ARE NO LONGER STABLE. We have system tests which essentially in the end expect a specific translated value in a field - these tests now fail approximately 20% of the times because deepl suddendly comes around with a different translation 🤬🤬🤬🤬
