  A man turns up in an unmarked car and no ID late at night and gets upset when a young woman doesn't want to get out of the car so he can work on it. I'm a cranky old woman and I'd have let him have it with both barrels!   Hot on the heels of Trump's disgraceful comments about allies avoiding the front lines in Afghanistan (while he stayed home and nursed his bone spurs), last night I watched a video posted by an educated man whose father had lifetime service in the US Army, but who'd never been overseas. This man was genuinely surprised to learn that troops beside US troops had served in theatres of war including Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, even WW2. He was also hazy about who else beside...

  @msdropbear42 Nooooooooooooo!!!! That is just shocking. I wonder why? Australians and others admire inventors and people who create from everywhere, but in the USA if it doesn't come from there they can't bear to acknowledge it for some reason 😞 It's disappointing.

  @msdropbear42 Oh, it's good to hear your father had a positive result post surgery! 😸 A friend of mine was very naughty and did not do his physio and tells me he regrets it now. Sooooo, I am promising myself to keep up the physio, although I know I am a huge coward and will try to 'cheat' if it hurts (not sure how, but I do know that much about myself!). I am doing hydrotherapy (hot water pool) right now and starting at a gym next week to try to improve my upper body...
