Said I’d try and post 3 good things daily and fell at the first hurdle anyway let’s try again! For yesterday: - managing to stay in bed and played some games. - having a slow morning with my partner. - seeing my my for a walk after she’s had an incredibly hard week.

I think this is a Muscovy duck? Had a walk somewhere further away, my friend drove us, windows down and masks on so I’d feel able to go which was really lovely. So nice to see different scenery.

A candy striped rose from a beautiful bouquet. I’ve never seen a rose with this pattern. #BloomScrolling

I’m making an A-Z zine of intersectional feminism for my friends kids. Trying to make it easy to read and include as much as I can! A is for Audre Lorde * Self described as " Black, lesbian, feminist, socialist, mother, warrior, poet." *She was born 18th Feb 1934 in New York City. * She wrote about her different experiences from all points of view. She did not want to be put into a box. Cont.

Y is for Yayoi Kusama. These aren’t in order I’m sorry! Yayoi is one of my favourite artists, I went to her exhibition in Manchester and it blew my mind. I’m not sure she describes herself as a feminist but she has faced struggles in a male dominated field. - Yayoi is a comtemporary artist working mostly in sculpture and installation. - She has always been open about her mental health and how her art has supported her wellbeing.

A friend loved my heart bag so much she wanted one so I sent her all the fabrics I had in her fav colours and she picks this combo. The blues greens and creams with purple faux velvet frill, that really didn’t want to be a frill. #textiles #handmade #bag

Happy Valentine’s Day! Thought I’d share these created at a youth club and the messages filled my heart with love. You are enough. I would be queer in every lifetime. Beautiful messages.

@adelinej I had that incredibly restless feeling after my last treatment. I wrote a list of different tasks I could do with different energy levels. I found doing some painting helpful it distracted me a bit, doing it for another person as well did help.

Today I had a crafting video call with a friend and tried to finish things I’d started ages ago for #FinishItFeb #crafting #textiles

Having a really bad brain day. Trying to let myself have emotions instead of distracting myself but having emotions is hard and horrible.

More of my 100 day food drawing challenge. I was trying to use watercolour and oils, materials I find tricky / hard to use. Out of the 100 these are probably some of my least favourite or effective. Or maybe I was in a slump with it. #watercolour #oilpastel #100DayChallenge #painting
