Y is for Yayoi Kusama. These aren’t in order I’m sorry! Yayoi is one of my favourite artists, I went to her exhibition in Manchester and it blew my mind. I’m not sure she describes herself as a feminist but she has faced struggles in a male dominated field. - Yayoi is a comtemporary artist working mostly in sculpture and installation. - She has always been open about her mental health and how her art has supported her wellbeing.
